Dr. Payam K. Asadi, DMD

A Tucson local since his teenage years, Dr. Asadi earned his Biochemistry degree from The University of Arizona, graduating Magna Cum Laude, before attending the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

During his studies he volunteered at El Rio Dental Clinic and St. Elizabeth's Health Center Dental Clinic, where he developed his passion for dentistry. Today he's a proud member of Spear Education and regularly pursues continuing education in the latest techniques, treatments, and technologies. Dr. Asadi is also committed to the community, volunteering free dental care for veterans and homeless veterans.

Dr. Ron Malakpour, DDS, MS

Dr. Ron is a board-eligible endodontist who graduated with academic distinction from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2017, completing externships at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

He returned to West Virginia for his post-graduate residency in endodontics, earning a Master's degree in Dentistry in 2019. Before moving to Arizona in 2021, he practiced in West Virginia and Minnesota in private practice and general dental clinic settings. His published research on the fracture resistance of maxillary first molars after root canal preparation is accessible at the WVU School of Dentistry.

Oral Surgery, Implants & Sedation

Dr. Justin Rider, DDS

Dr. Rider earned his dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and completed an advanced general dentistry residency at Sheppard Air Force Base, later serving three years at Davis-Monthan AFB here in Tucson.

He earned his Bachelor of Science at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. In 2010, after an additional year of clinical and continuing education, he was recognized by the Air Force Specialty Code as an Advanced Clinical Dentist. His postgraduate training in IV sedation, oral surgery, wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, and orthodontics lets him offer comprehensive treatment in the comfort of your own dental office.

Can I get a same-day dentist appointment in Tucson?

Yes. We reserve time each day for emergency patients. Call (520) 293-9277 as early as you can and we will do everything possible to see you the same day.

Do you do root canals in-house?

Yes. Root canal therapy is performed right in our office by Dr. Ron Malakpour, an endodontist, so most patients never need a referral to an outside specialist.

Do you place dental implants?

Yes. Dental implants and oral surgery, including IV sedation, are available in-house with Dr. Justin Rider.

What insurance do you accept?

We are contracted with most dental insurance plans, and flexible payment plans and financing are available. Call us to verify your specific plan before your visit.

Do you see children?

Yes. We are a family practice and treat patients of all ages, from kids to grandparents.
